SEA Screening Decisions Issued
In terms of neighbourhood planning though it is not required that a sustainability appraisal is done, it may be possible that environmental assessments in line with European obligations may be triggered.
During the production of a neighbourhood plan it is necessary for the plan maker (qualifying body) to provide sufficient information for the responsible authority (the local authority) to determine whether an environmental assessment is required.
The table below contains those decisions that have been issued for all those where opinions have been requested and determined by Arun District since neighbourhood planning began in 2011.
