Land at Ford Airfield
This development will provide up to 1,500 dwellings of which 30% will be affordable, as well as a 60-bed care home, employment land restricted to Use Class B1, a local centre including a community hub and land for a new two-form entry primary school.
This strategic allocation will provide contributions towards highway improvements, police infrastructure, swimming pool improvements in the district along with other health and fitness contributions and land for new healthcare provisions.

The path closure is necessary to protect public safety whilst Archaeological and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) investigations take place. Unfortunately, there is no alternative route available using the Rights of Way network.
