You may be able to reduce your monthly payments by paying your Council Tax over 12 months rather than 10.

If you need help with debt then you can speak to organisations who provide free, impartial and confidential advice. Examples are:

• Debt Advice Foundation

If you are in severe financial difficulty we may be able to help with a discretionary reduction in your Council Tax.

You’ll need to print and complete the Council Tax discretionary relief application form[pdf] 258KB and then either post or email us a copy.
