Composition
This page contains the adopted Arun Local Plan and its accompanying daughter documents as set out within the Local Development Scheme. The development for Arun district comprises of the:
- The West Sussex Waste Local Plan 2014;
- The Joint Minerals Local Plan 2018 and the Soft Sand Review
- The Arun Local Plan 2011-2031 (July 2018)
- ‘Made’ Neighbourhood Plans
The Arun Local Plan 2011-2031 (July 2018) supersedes all policies in the Arun Local Plan 2003. The South Downs National Park (SDNP) authority is the planning authority for that area of Arun which falls within the national park and the SDNP authority adopted a new South Downs Local Plan in July 2019 which replaced that residual part of the Arun Local Plan 2003 for that administrative area. How to Purchase the Local Plan
The cost of ordering the Adopted Local Plan (2011-2031) is set out in the table below:

Copies of the Adopted Arun Local Plan 2011-2031 and its associated documents listed above should be requested using the Local Plan online application form. Postage costs are for 2nd class medium parcels and 2nd class large letters.
Upon receipt of your request by E-form, arrangements will be made to deliver the documents to your specified address. Subject to the level of demand for these documents it may be necessary to re-print them. Therefore there may be a delay in the documents being dispatched. Please be aware that only one set of document(s) can be purchased at a time. If you require more than one copy of the documents please go into the order form again.
