World Environment Day
The theme this year focuses on restoring drylands, where vegetation is decreasing and building drought resilience. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the global host of this year's edition.
This day encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. It is supported by many non-governmental organizations, businesses, government entities, and represents the primary United Nations outreach day supporting the environment.
