Weather situation update – 01.11.23
We continue to take the current weather warnings very seriously, and signs of Storm Ciaran are now evident. Please make sure that you are Weather Ready WeatherReady - Met Office and prepared in case of floods, loss of power, high winds and potential damage to property. We are expecting high winds so making sure that garden furniture, bins, pots and garden ornaments are secured where possible. Please check on vulnerable friends, family or members of the community and keep an eye on the weather updates on the television, radio and social media.
Our officers are working closely with emergency services and other partners to prepare for the weather as well as supporting the recovery work following the extreme rain last weekend.
