Update on the Harvester Littlehampton fire - disrupted services
Following the devastating fire at The Harvester in Littlehampton this morning there has been some disruption to the area.
Parking – the Harvester car park is currently closed. Please use seafront car parking at East Beach car park, Banjo Road car park, Mewsbrook car park or other town centre parking.
Toilets – the public toilets by the Harvester are closed for the time being as the water supply to the facilities was used to tackle the fire. The nearest public toilets are at Norfolk Gardens.
Kiosks – the refreshments kiosks and retailers on the prom are open.
Windmill Theatre – the theatre will remain closed while any damage and safety concerns are assessed.
Arun District Council Foreshores – our foreshores team are on hand and operating as close to normal service as possible.
RNLI – the life guarding service provided by the RNLI remains unchanged.
We know that this may affect people’s leisure plans and businesses and ask for patience and understanding while we continue to work with our partners to make sure that the public and buildings are safe. We will be working hard to restore services as soon as we can.
