Two days until COP26 | Latest news

COP26 is only a couple of days away from starting, and many of the events are filling up or have filled up already. Make sure you have a look on the COP26 website to see if there are any events you would like to attend virtually. 

The council has recently completed a carbon audit of the emissions generated by our activities. The results from this showed that our Scope 3 made up over 98% of our emissions, or roughly 20,250 tonnes of CO2e. Scope 3 includes the emissions generated from our contractors, and the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that we work with. 

During COP26 there is a free workshop to help inform SMEs on what they can do to reduce their emissions. There are limited tickets so make sure you get them before the sell out!
