Time’s running out to get a table at the jobs fair
A jobs fair is being held from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 12 October at Littlehampton Wave leisure centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for employers and businesses across the Arun district to find new members of staff. Employers can expect to meet around 100 local people actively looking for work.
This free event is hosted by Arun District Council and Arun Business Partnership, in partnership with Aspire Sussex - ‘All About Me’ project, with the support of DWP Job Centre Plus in Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.
Councillor Andy Cooper, chair of Arun District Council’s Economy Committee says the recruitment event is a great way to match local businesses with local people and strengthen the district’s workforce.
“The community and jobs fair is a great opportunity for employers to fill seasonal, temporary and permanent positions, and enjoy some networking at the same time.
“Over 100 potential employees attended the most recent jobs fair in Littlehampton, and 30 local businesses took the opportunity to meet candidates, arrange interviews and even hire people on the spot”.

Stallholders can set up from 9am and each business will be allocated one table and a voucher for a free cup of tea or coffee on arrival. The in-house café will be open throughout the day.
