Theft on Bognor Regis promenade jeopardises safety
Sadly, our Foreshores officer has reported the ropes for the life rings along Bognor Regis Promenade have been stolen.
The life buoys are still there but are of no use without a line attached to them - please be aware of danger and behave safely near the water especially as we currently have strong and rough waves at the moment.
These ropes are specifically designed to save life and are very expensive. We will replace them as soon as possible.
If anyone witnesses theft or criminal damage, please call Sussex Police in 101. After the event, damage can be reported to us directly on by calling 01903 737500.
