SWEP update - 15 December 2022
Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) remains activated in Arun from 6 December 2022 until 8:00am Monday 19December 2022 due to the continued low temperatures. Anyone who is rough sleeping in Arun will have access to a bed for the period of SWEP should they wish to access one.
Please note some location changes to our usual SWEP provisions:
- To access SWEP on Thursday 15and Friday 16 December, clients need to attend Stonepillow’s hub at Glenlogie in Bognor Regis at 6pm if they wish to be offered a bed.
- To access SWEP on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December clients will need to attend Stonepillow’s Hostel at 15 Ellasdale road Bognor Regis from 6pm if they wish to be offered a bed.
Our partner agencies and outreach teams continue to notify all rough sleepers known to us to ensure they are aware of this offer.
Clients based in Littlehampton who may struggle to get to Bognor Regis, should attend the Turning Tides hub by 11am each morning, or contact the Housing Options Team after 11am and no later than 4pm for help to get to Bognor Regis for the evening.
