Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSE) – work to commence in South Bersted
Durkin and Sons Limited, working on behalf of SSE are starting ‘essential upgrades to your local electricity network’ from Monday 1 July 2024.
A new underground electricity cable is to be installed between Argyle Road in Shripney to South Bersted.
Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday 17 January 2025.
We have been advised that this project will increase the reliability of supplies to homes and businesses in the area and reduce the risk of power cuts.
As the area within this fence is a fully operational work site, there is no unsupervised public access beyond this point.
