Traders across the Arun district are in for an early Christmas treat thanks to an annual event to promote independent businesses.

Small Business Saturday, a national campaign to encourage local shopping, has received support from many local traders and shoppers. The event is being supported by Littlehampton Traders’ Partnership and is being run by Littlehampton’s Organisation of Contemporary Arts (LOCA).

This year, the event takes place in Littlehampton High Street on Saturday, 5 December from 9am to 5pm and shoppers visiting the town can enjoy all day free parking at St Martin’s and Manor House car parks....

Bognor Regis has finished a runner up in the race to be crowned Britain’s best coastal high street.

Bognor Regis and Prestatyn made it into the top three but were pipped to the post by Amble at an award ceremony in London’s Admiralty House earlier on Monday, 30 November.
