At a meeting of Arun District Council’s Cabinet on 17 July 2017 the green light was given to start construction of the new leisure centre in Littlehampton, to ensure the project stays on track to open to the public by April 2019.

Modern new toilets are set to be in place on Bognor Regis seafront next summer, subject to planning permission being granted.  The planning application also includes a new Beach Office to replace the existing Foreshores Office which will be demolished to make way for the new buildings.
