Arun District Council’s Chairman Cllr Andy Cooper was joined by members of the Royal British Legion, the Royal Naval Association, Nick Gibb MP, Arun District Council’s Leader Cllr Mrs Gillian Brown, Arun District Councillors, Senior Council Officers and staff, the Deputy Mayor of Littlehampton Cllr Ian Buckland and other members of Littlehampton Town Council along with 90 children from Riverbeach Primary School and members of the public as people across the country fell silent to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
