Men's Health Week - Cllr. Martin Smith

Men’s Health Week took place between 14 – 20 June, but we’re focusing on it this week as we brought you This Girl Can Week last week. We’re sure you’ll all agree discussions about Men’s Health are important and shouldn’t be limited to just one week. Throughout the week we will be sharing stories from our male Councillors. Today we hear from Cllr. Martin Smith.
"As someone in the physiotherapy world, keeping active and healthy especially during lockdown has been a big part of my job. I've made sure to exercise and visit the gym as much as possible to ensure my health stays up.
Any amount of exercise, from walking the dog once a day to taking the stairs at work can be so beneficial to you. If you're working from home make sure you get up every 45 minutes for a walk. Your back will thank you!
Stay active, keep fit and do exercise you enjoy. The more your enjoy it the more you'll do it. Good luck guys!"
