You will soon see the first signs of work beginning at Littlehampton seafront with the arrival of temporary toilets on 20 August. Work to prepare the utility service connections will follow. These will be fenced off until the main work starts which is expected to be in the second week of September.

A meet the contractor drop-in session held this week was attended by 50-60 residents and businesses who were able to view phasing plans and ask questions. People wanted to know about the impact on car parking and coach parking, how businesses would be affected in terms of utility service changes, noise and deliveries and to also ask general questions about the design.

The phasing plans will be added to the webpage as well as answers to the most commonly asked questions, to be found on this link, once uploaded.
