Lashmar skate park improvements
Improvements to the skate park in East Preston have recently started.
The design for the scheme was based on feedback from the consultation carried out last year and features a range of low-level ramps for beginners on skateboards and scooters. The new ramps will have Skatelite pro riding surfaces which are quieter than metal and will be installed with new tarmac surfacing.
East Preston Parish Council kindly agreed to donate £10,000 towards the project, so that we can provide an enhanced scheme that offers the opportunity for beginners to progress whilst also providing a better experience for those at intermediate / advanced level.
The work started with the removal of the old ramps and the new tarmac has been laid in preparation for the new skate ramps that will be installed in the next few weeks.
