Invitation to bid for UK Shared Prosperity Fund
We have been allocated £1,083,399, as part of the governments levelling up agenda, to be spent over three years from April 2022 to March 2025. We were given the responsibility of developing a local investment plan setting out how the fund will be spent. Local stakeholders were contacted and they sent across expressions of interest to assist in the formation of themes.
We are now in a position to invite bids to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund between 1 December – 30 December to deliver the priorities in the plan. Bidders are advised that bids will be approved subject to the councils satisfaction that the Investment Plan is accepted by government.
The application process can be found on this web page: www.arun.gov.uk/ukspf - which contains all the relevant bidding guidance, a copy of our investment plan and a word version of the application form. There is an e-form link to apply electronically and the deadline for all bids is 30 December 2022.
The authority is also considering (subject to agreement) setting up a separate community projects fund, for individual projects which were not deemed suitable for inclusion in the UKSPF investment plan.
