International Animal Rights Day is a global day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of animal rights and promotes the humane treatment of animals and their rights. It is a reminder that animals deserve respect, compassion, and protection from cruelty and exploitation.
We share the planet with all sorts of creatures, including us humans! Today is the day for reminding us that animals deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and care. Whether furry or scaly, warm-blooded or cold-blooded; on land, in the air or the sea – they all deserve fair and considerate treatment.
The theme this year is “Great or small, love them all.”
