We are inviting all residents who have been impacted by the floods caused by Storm Ciaran and the subsequent rainfall to come and speak to us to share your experiences.
The response to a flood is managed by many partners. A multi-agency recovery group is formed to ensure that the community is supported to recover from a flood and put measures in place to prevent future flooding. This has been done in the wake of Storm Ciaran.
We fully appreciate the upheaval, upset, distress and impact that a flood can cause and we want to support the local community in any way possible.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended our first engagement session. We have now set a date for a second one.
We are holding the next session on Tuesday 5 December at Bersted Park Community Centre, Lakeland Avenue, PO21 5FF between 5pm and 7pm. No need to book, you can come along at any time and speak to one of the team on the day.
