Good luck to all the students in Arun who are back to school or college this week, or just starting their education. We know its not always an easy time and we hope you settle in ok.

Remember, if you see any of the following ...

• another student struggling to make friends
• another student being bullied
• a student that is shy or not in with the 'in' crowd
• a student who eats lunch by themselves 

Be a leader ...

• say hi, smile at them
• start a chat — ask them how it is going
• ask if you can sit with them at lunch
• include them in any activity 

And encourage your friends to do the same — you never know what that person might be facing at school or at home.

Your kindness will make a huge difference in someone's life and it will make you feel good too.
