Get on your bike with a free adult Bikeability course

Arun Wellbeing, in partnership with West Sussex County Council, is offering a free eight-week Bikeability course for adults (minimum age 16), which will take place in Littlehampton. The course will run on Tuesday evenings, 6.00pm to 7.30pm, starting on 23 May.
The Bikeability course is suitable for people with little or no cycling experience, who are looking to do more exercise. Training will be delivered by qualified instructors, and cycles and safety equipment will be provided to participants. The course aims to equip participants with the skills they need to cycle safely within the local community, and includes a number of pre-devised routes.
If cycling doesn’t take your fancy, Arun Wellbeing is also offering a free Learn to Swim course at Arundel Lido on Thursday Evenings from 1 June, and a free Beginner’s Fitness course in Felpham (Tuesday evenings from 16 May), Littlehampton (Monday daytimes from 5 June) and Arundel (Tuesday evenings from 6 June). Arun Wellbeing’s free courses are ideally suited to those looking to gain the skills and confidence to start exercising regularly and improve their health.
