Funding agreed for Littlehampton Community Wardens
Community Wardens will continue to patrol Littlehampton Town Centre after funding was agreed. In a pilot scheme jointly funded by Littlehampton Town Council, wardens spent more than 1,500 hours on patrol between April and December 2021, issuing warnings, attending anti-social behaviour incidents, assisting police with updates and attending community events - with positive feedback from the community.
