Take advantage of a free programme funded by Arun District Council designed to give your business a boost.  

The Bognor Regis Business Start Up Hot House is a course for people living in the Arun district who have an idea for their own business or who have just started their own business. 

There are six workshops and six peer-to-peer sessions offering a range of support including: developing your idea, pitching and selling, marketing and advertising, digital and email marketing, websites and social media, book keeping, legalities and intellectual property (legally protecting your creations and ideas such as designs, writing and symbols) and launching your business. 

The peer-to-peer events bring together everyone on the programme to create a group that will help you develop your business by using the knowledge of everyone involved. 
Councillor Mrs Gillian Brown, Leader of Arun District Council and Cabinet Member for Council Strategy, said: “These courses provide the tools you need to make your business or business idea a success. 

“I am delighted the council is providing the funding for these courses.  This means those who participate will make significant savings as well as learning lots of useful tips.”

The first session called Start Up Saturdays – Taste it, feel it, love it, START IT, takes place at 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, 7 November.
