Poll cards will be issued by post during the week of 4 June, and you should check that you know where your polling station is if you vote in person.  If you receive a poll card for this election, this acts as confirmation that you are already registered to vote.

If you are already registered to vote you do not need to register again. However, if you haven’t registered yet, it is important that you do so now, but only do it once. Duplicate registrations take up a lot of administrative time for us at this very busy time so your assistance with this is welcomed.

If you aren’t already registered, your application to register to vote in these elections must be received by Arun District Council by Tuesday 18 June you can do that here: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

The deadline to apply for a new postal vote or to change or cancel an existing postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 19 June.  Requests for new proxy votes must be received by Arun District Council by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.

You will also need to provide photograph voter ID at these elections. Full information can be found here: Voter photo ID | Arun District Council

If you wish to stand for election in the UK Parliamentary election in the Bognor Regis and Littlehampton Constituency, nomination papers must be received by the Acting Returning Officer at the Civic Centre in Littlehampton by 4pm on Friday 7 June. We will publish the Statement of Persons Nominated no later than 5pm the same day.
