Dumped snakes | Latest news

Today our contractors found two black bags dumped in a bin at our cemetery in Littlehampton. These bags contained four dead Burmese pythons.

We believe they may have been frozen to death and dumped. We are shocked by this horrendous act. If you have any information which would help investigations please contact cemeteries@arun.gov.uk.

The snakes were not poisonous and there were 2 Albino, 1 Black and 1 reddish coloured Boa constrictors. Each between 1.5m & 2m long weighing approx. 5-6 Kgs.
