Performance in planning is measured on how many planning applications are determined within specific time periods. Recent data has shown that Arun District Council performs the best out of all West Sussex council’s on this.
Arun determined 82% of ‘minor’ applications within time. This was 24% more than the next best performing council and 34% above the average. The data also showed that Arun District Council has the highest volume of ‘major’ applications determined in West Sussex but managed to deliver the highest performance of all council’s.
