We are a small team and whilst we can no longer offer a face-to-face service, if you need to contact the Revenues and Benefits team about anything relating to your Council Tax charge, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, overpayment and debts, or discretionary awards you can do so on one of three ways:
- email us 24/7 at revenues.benefits@arun.gov.uk with you claim reference or council tax account number in the subject field

Evidence
If you claim Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction and you need to supply evidence, did you know that we can accept photograph, screen shots, scans and PDFs that can all be emailed to revenues.benefits@arun.gov.uk? You just need to make sure your name and claim reference is in the subject field of the email and that the images are clear. If you want a friend or relative to email them on your behalf, that is also fine with us. You can also use your Citizens Access portal to upload documents.
Alternatively, you can still post documents to us and we will return them to you via Royal Mail once we have recorded them on our systems.
Reviews
If you claim Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction you are subject to a review of your circumstances to make sure you are getting everything you are entitled to. We may email or write to you to review your claim. This could be a full claim review or just a review of one aspect of your claim, such as savings or childcare expenses.
It is important that you respond to our emails and letters otherwise your payments may stop. If in doubt, please email us revenues.benefits@arun.gov.uk or call us on 01903 737753 but please do not ignore requests for information.
