Arun District Council recently received funds to help vulnerable residents in Arun - we are delighted to say that we were given £175,000 from the Household Support Fund (HSF).
We have managed to allocate these funds in 10 weeks, which has involved several officers at the council who have gone above and beyond in taking this task on and helping those who need it.
We are thrilled to have helped hundreds of people, and made a difference,however small.
The support included:
- food vouchers
- rent arrears
- white goods
- carpets
- clothing
- utility payments
For the time being, there is no further support via the HSF fund, but we are waiting to hear from West Sussex County Council about the next allocation and the guidance on how it is to be spent.
