Criminal damage - Farnhurst play area, Barnham
We are sad to report vandalism to the basket swing, which involved cutting three of the four support ropes.
The ropes contain metal wires and there was also an attempt to cut one of the chain links at the top, which we suspect was deliberately done using some sort of cutting tool.
The play team have removed the ropes and basket swing to make the area safe and have reported the damage to Sussex Police, and it is now under investigation.
