Changes to parking permits for the controlled parking zone in Bognor Regis
On-street resident and non-resident parking permits for the controlled parking zone in Bognor Regis are now electronic.
Any customers applying for a new application or renewal of their current permit will need to sign up to MiPermit which is a website and app.https://www.arun.gov.uk/parking-permits
As these permits are electronic there will be nothing to display in the windscreen of the vehicle, however the current paper permit will need to continue to be displayed until it has expired. This will speed up the application process as customers will no longer need to wait for a permit to arrive in the post. Once an application has been approved, the customer can choose the start date.
Visitor permits will also be available online via MiPermit. Once purchased they need to be activated with the visitor’s registration number when they arrive and park. A visitor permit is not valid until it has been activated.
Dispensations will also be available electronically. Once an application has been approved the dispensation is ready for use on the selected date. Customers no longer need to collect a paper permit to display.
Finally, suspension application forms have moved to MiPermit to provide an easier online application process
