Business Highlight - Meridian Medical
Across the Arun district we have many great businesses and the joint interim CEO of Arun DC Karl Roberts, is embarking on programme of visits to a number of businesses, both small and large, to listen to and understand the challenges they face and to celebrate the great work they do. We will be sharing our ‘Business Highlight’ as these visits take place.
The first visit last week was to Meridian Medical in Littlehampton where Karl was shown around the facility by Managing Director, James Fenton. Last year Meridian Medical won the Employer of the Year award from the Arun Business Partnership. This business manufacture medical devices which are used in hospitals throughout the UK and abroad. They have a lengthy, established reputation in contract medical devices manufacturing and are proud of their track record of consistent compliance with quality and regulatory standards. To achieve this, the business operates several clean rooms for injection moulding, assembly and packing operations.
Meridian Medical are a very important part of the Arun business community employing over 130 people. We wish then all best for the future as they continue to grow.
