You may have attended one of our public information events in May 2019. The images and plans of the scheme presented can be viewed at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/arundel-tidal-defence-scheme/arundel-tidal-defence-scheme-phase-1. We have changed the design of the new steel sheet pile wall at River Road. This will now incorporate a steel capping beam to make it more sympathetic to local heritage in Arundel, rather than one constructed from concrete. We have appointed our contractor Mackleys to build the scheme.
