Zulu97 Flex Zone - book a bus service
The new 97 Flex zone serves Barnham and surrounding areas. After the closure of Six Villages Sports Centre, Community Transport Sussex have worked together with their partners to ensure Arun Leisure Centre would be added as an additional stop within this route. A positive extension to the route ensuring residents have continued access to leisure provision within the district.
The bus follows a semi-flexible bus route during peak travel hours (6:45am to 9:30am and 4:30pm to 7:00pm) and becomes fully flexible during off-peak hours. Fares are currently capped at £2 per trip and free for bus pass holders.
The service operates on bookings via the book-a-bus Barnham app which is available on Android and IOS. You can use the 97-flex service to connect to other towns within the zone or for onward travel connections, including, rail to major cities such as London and Brighton, or local bus routes. A full list of pick-up or drop-off points and onward connection points can be viewed on the app.
