Our strategy sets out the work we will do over the next four years to engage with our residents.
Our vision is that by 2026 our residents will have every opportunity to engage with us in the ways that suit them, delivering meaningful and outcome-focused resident involvement where they can influence and shape our current and future services
The strategy is centred around five aims

Our Compliance Strategy outlines our approach to ensuring our homes are safe, comfortable and efficient. It sets out the role and responsibilities of staff, contractors and other parties in managing health and safety obligations.
The Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2024-2029 sets out our vision for reducing homelessness and rough sleeping for the next 5 years.
It provides analysis of the current situation and outlines our strategic priorities for the next 5 years.
The priorities are task led, with yearly actions which will be monitored and the progress of which will be reported on annually to Housing and Wellbeing Committee.
Our vision is to make homelessness brief: when homelessness does occur, we will make sure that people and families are quickly connected to housing and support.
We will make homelessness non-recurring: where homelessness cannot be prevented, we will find long term solutions so that people and families do not experience multiple episodes of homelessness.

The Housing Strategy 2024 to 2029 sets out our vision and priorities for housing over the next five years.
It provides an analysis of the current situation in Arun. It outlines the strategic housing priorities and the actions that will be taken to improve the provision of housing across the district. Our vision is for Arun’s residents to have access to the right homes in the right places. This enables them to live a fulfilling life and contribute to the future growth and sustainability of the district. To achieve the vision the strategy recommends focusing our efforts on activities across five strategic priorities.
