Fines
You may face a fine if you are caught littering, failing to clean up after your dog or spoiling our environment. These fines are called Fixed Penalty Notices.
Pay your fine
If you've received a Fixed Penalty Notice you can pay online.
Why fines are issued
Our residents, businesses and visitors want Arun to be clean - especially our high streets and popular tourist areas.
We hope the cost of a fine will make people think twice about activities that have a negative impact on our environment.
Fines can be issued for dropping litter and cigarette butts, not clearing up after your dog, graffiti and putting up posters without permission ('fly-posting').
